Handy Clock App Reviews

I just installed this application and the graphics are impressive. Presently the clock face is centered on the desktop and may be set to various sizes. I am looking forward to an update which will allow the clock face to be selectively moved on the desktop. This application certainly enhances the desktop.

I am happy with the transparency of the clock. I would like to see a digital face with date as an upgrade. I would also like to see it as a screen saver displaying many flashing colours. I find that all the other clocks with the exception of the plain face are just to cluttered and hard to read.

Very easy to use. Helps me keep track of time as I work.

This app does pretty much exactly what it claims it can do, consistently and reliably. In this day and age, thats the Gold Standard of a very good app. Im looking forward to more updates.

the sport watch version is only a clock the other dials on the face do not function

The clock cannot be moved around the screen - it is stationary in the middle - unless there is something I don’t know.

The clock looks good and is easy to read with a sweep second hand. I keep it on all the time. I wish it came with a calendar and had more options for different clock designs.

Assumed I would be able to size the clock but havent been able to figure out how to do this. Its just as the screen shots show…one big clock occupying the entire screeen. Would be nice if the size and location of clock were completely adjustable.

It sits in the middle of the screen? On the background? I wanted it, because I usually black the background while working, and wanted to put a clock on the surface, out of my way. . . but you cant even move it. . . I already have a clock screen saver. Why would I need this? Its not very handy!

Does as advertised. Its reliable and attractive. The round clock takes up a fair amount of real estate. Would like a rectangular digital version. Great idea though and Im happy with it.

I was about to but a real clock for my office, when I installed this app on the computer conneter to the Mac Mini connected to the flat screen in my office. I set up the clock to be transparent and in the the bottom corener of the screen. Now I can easily see the time, even form across the room. This is a great app. I have it set to auto launch. Higly recommended. It would be a 5star if the smalled hands also worked as a timer function..maybe the next release.

I like the look of the clock function, especially the Swiss Army Victrinox Airboss Mach 3 looks of the "sport" selection. It is great!! One thing I have some complaint for is I cant move this clock between my desktop spaces. I would have to shut it down and reopen it in a new space. I hope the next version can do better (or the paid version will do that??)

I dont know why I didnt get this app sooner. I have very poor eye sight, so the time in the upper right corner is not very practical for me. With The Handy Clock, I have it on screen constantly. Im a former Marine, and using the 24 hour clock is terrific. Id give this app a 5+ And, its free. How can you lose.] Jim

Itd be cooler and worth the price of admission had the hands on the chronograph worked. Keep working on it….

The clock size as it appears on the screen is adjustable. I find the time in this format really hits me more than the other clock thats always at the upper right corner on my desktop (the one thats in the menubar), since the latter is easier to ignore. I also have another clock thats currently installed as a widget, but that doesnt work as well so Ive decided I need a clock thats a bit more in my face, as I only see the widget when I click on my mouse. Hope later additional varieties of clock designs will become available, obviously I dont know yet but theres always the chance I might eventually get tired of seeing the same clock design after seeing it over a long enough period of time on my screen. Would like to be able to set an alarm when the clock image could then start flashing (Im deaf). Also would like to see these clocks, depending on their design, as potential timers (both the count-up and count-down variety) as well, they cant be used this way yet.

It looks good but if you turn the iMac off when it comes back on there are two icons on the dock. there`s no way to remove it except to turn it off. Double icon takes up too much real estate n the dock for no good reason.

Its the perfect app for my desktop. I love being able to see the clock on my screen from across the room. I luv the customizable features. I cant wait for the next version to have more different clock faces.

This is a great little app. I keep it on my desktop all the time.
